Physical therapy and rehabilitation
After experiencing a traumatic injury, many patients require trauma therapy to relearn lost skills, regain range of motion or rebuild strength. North Suburban’s inpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation team offers comprehensive rehabilitation services for adults and children.
Our physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and/or respiratory therapists work together to create a personalized care regimen to help you on your road to recovery.
The trauma program at North Suburban Medical Center also focuses on injury prevention in the community. Our colleagues work to identify injury trends in the service area and develop educational programs that help keep our community safe and injury free. Each year, hundreds of community members and EMS professionals receive specialized training from North Suburban.
