In addition to these treatments, we also offer Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment. A patient's primary care or emergency physician is an important member of broader care team and all therapies at the Wound Care and Hyperbarics Clinic are offered to patients at the request and referral from a physician.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy involves a hyperbaric chamber that creates a healing environment using pure oxygen that is pressurized at three times the normal air pressure to help speed up the healing process. Oxygen therapy helps increase the oxygen flow in your circulatory system and helps fight bacteria and infection and promotes healing.
