Evie received her education from Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa, it was early in her training that she experienced the deep and profound connection that occurs when caring for someone with cancer. "I have been blessed to walk with many people on their cancer journey over the years, I learn something new about myself every time. It is truly the most rewarding career, I get to provide kindness, empathy, & compassion for a living. Educating patients and their loved ones through the process is one of the most powerful gifts, and I find that to be an important constant in this position."
