Thornton, CO– HCA/HealthONE's North Suburban Medical Center has announced the appointment of Angie Voigt MBA, BSN RN, NEA-BC as Chief Nursing Officer of North Suburban Medical Center (NSMC). Voigt will begin her new role immediately.
Voigt’s HealthONE career began in 2012 as a Nurse Manager of Cardiovascular Services at The Medical Center of Aurora. She was promoted to Assistant Director in 2014, and became a Director in 2015. Most recently, Voigt held the Associate Chief Nursing Officer role at The Medical Center of Aurora, a Magnet designated hospital where she supported more than 800 nursing positions. In 2018, Voigt became the Interim Chief Nursing Officer at North Suburban, and will now continue in this role full time.

At NSMC, Voigt will be the top nursing executive overseeing the medical center’s three campuses, which includes two freestanding emergency rooms (Northwest ER and Northeast ER) and an array of clinical services and programs.

Voigt began her career as an ICU nurse and also has leadership experience in the post-acute care setting. She received her BSN from North Dakota State University in 2006, and is MBA prepared. In 2016, Voigt earned her Nurse Executive Advanced Board Certification and was nominated by her team for the Colorado Regional Nightingale Luminary Award in the Leadership category.
Angie recently graduated from HCA’s prestigious Executive Development Program and proudly shares she is a fourth generation nurse.
