Flu Season Visitor Restrictions October through March

The health and safety of our patients, especially our littlest ones, is our top priority! Please note the following visitor restrictions that are in place for the flu season from October through March.

If you are a visitor and have symptoms of respiratory illness (runny nose, cough, fever, achiness), please do not visit patients until your illness has subsided. Due to increased illnesses during flu season, the follow restrictions are enforced during the flu season:

 - Labor & Delivery and Women's Services Units - No visitors under the age of 14, except for children of our patients that have been screed for flu symptoms.

 - Neonatal Intensive Care Units - No visitors under the age of 14; only two visitors at the bedside at one time.

If you are visiting North Suburban to see a physician and have symptoms of respiratory illness, please ask for a mask in the department where you will receive care.
